VideoSignal ("we," "our," or "us") provides an API platform that extracts structured data from video, audio, image, and PDF files. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our API, our dashboard, and any capture link generated through our service.
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and, if you use Google Sign-In, basic profile information from your Google account. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or other Google services beyond authentication.
Content you submit. Videos, audio, images, and PDFs uploaded directly or through a capture link, along with the extraction schema you define for that content.
Usage data. API calls, credit consumption, error logs, and general analytics about how the service is used, collected to keep the platform reliable and to bill accurately.
End-user content. If you generate a capture link for your own users, we process whatever they submit through that link on your behalf. You are responsible for informing your end users and obtaining any consent required under applicable law.
We use Google Cloud Platform for infrastructure, storage, and authentication. Your content is processed under our instructions and is not used by Google for advertising or unrelated purposes. We also use payment processors to handle billing, who receive only the information necessary to process a transaction.
We do not sell your personal information or your uploaded content to third parties.
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and infrastructure hardening through our cloud provider, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Our infrastructure may process and store data in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for these transfers.
Our services are intended for business and developer use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, we'll notify active users by email or in-app notice.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent through our contact page.
